2022 Annual Fees
Hello Parent and Guardians of 89 (Pacific) Air Squadron cadets,
All activities at the 89 (Pacific) Air Cadet Squadron (weekly training, gliding, Familiarization flying, FTX, etc.) are funded both through the Department of National Defence (DND) and the Squadron Support Association (SSA). The Air Cadet League of Canada (ACLC) – BC Provincial Committee (BCPC) covers the cost of cadet liability/legal insurance and maintenance/insurance of the gliders and tow planes. This REGISTRATION FEE is charged by the SSA to cover the cost of an obligatory annual fee to BCPC and for additional activities and equipment not funded by either the DND nor ACLC/BCPC.
This annual fee pays for those expenses the squadron still incurs even during a pandemic and will allow the squadron to continue and deliver the training plan.
Effective Speaking Competition
The National Effective Speaking Competition Subcommittee invites you to attend this year's competition which is being sponsored and hosted on Zoom by the Ontario Moose Association.
